Schneider in August of 1927, and died Oct. 2, 2001 at Grace Living Center in Muskogee. Services were Oct. 5 at Foster’s Ivory Chapel followed by burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula under the direction of Foster Petering Funeral Home. Survivors include a son, Roderick J. Schneider and wife Kathy of Eufaula; a sister, Gladys Garner Mahar of McKinney, TX; grandson, Terry J. Schneider and wife Janet of Muskogee; great-grandson, David Keith Parker of Eufaula; great-granddaughter, Brandy Michele Schneider of Muskogee; nephew, John S. Mahar Jr.; and three nieces, Fola Fite Nelson, Gail Cook, and Elaine Boykin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1937; a granddaughter, Linda Schneider Parker, three sisters, Ola Beatrice Garner, Lura Chastain, and Corda Fite, and one brother, Moody Garner.
