Our family is so strange Columbus's dau, Effie Bell Moore married John Pennington Moore. (They were not related before marriage.) His mother was Gertrude Bell before she married Lawrence Moore. We have no idea where Columbus got his middle name from. You might be interested to know that Gertrude's husband Lawrence Moore died in Kansas City, MO we believe. She died in CA. They were married in Ashland, Ohio. Any connection to your BELL's? Jan
