Dear List Readers I am in hopes that one of you might be able to help me. I am searching for my Great Aunt FLORENCE PRICE/MUMFORD/MUNFORD. She was married in Eufala on Jan 30,1914 to GEORGE ANDREW MUMFORD. They were there for awhile before he took her back to Arkansas. She gave birth to two children and one of them died. I don't know if it was Oklahoma or Arkansas. I have the following information so far. Florence's parents lived in Leper Township Mc Intosh Co in 1910 as they are on the census taken that year. She is on it with them. On the 1920 census they were living in Burton Township in Murry Co. She is not listed. Now for the fun part. I have and my cousin have searched Arkansas for her and have found nothing. She had a son LEO GEORGE MUMFORD on January 16,1916 and soon after that child was born she died. It was before 1920. As her husband shows up on the 1920 census with his father and his son age 3. The census was taken before his birthday in Jan of 1920. His father was listed as a widower. There may be a chance that George took Florence back to her parents when she got sick and she died and was buried there. I figure she died between 1917 and 1919. We have Family buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Mc Intosh Co but she is not listed. Can someone do a lookup for me in Murry Co for Oaklawn Cemetery and see by chance if she is buried there. Her Mother , Joanna Catherine Carr/Price , Brother George James Price and other family members are buried there. Her father DENNIS TRAMMEL PRICE is buried in Colorado with other family members.
