He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 2001; two sons, an infant and George R. Lackey in 1977; and one sister, Margaret Young this year. Our family is so strange Columbus's dau, Effie Bell Moore married John Pennington Moore. (They were not related before marriage.) His mother was Gertrude Bell before she married Lawrence Moore. We have no idea where Columbus got his middle name from. You might be interested to know that Gertrude's husband Lawrence Moore died in Kansas City, MO we believe. She died in CA. They were married in Ashland, Ohio. Any connection to your BELL's? Jan

Ellington Moore. They had a daughter named Marie Moore in Eufaula, OKlahoma in 1899. Marie Moore married George Harlan bet 1918-1920 in Mcintosh County, Oklahoma. She and her husband George adopted 1 child from Whittaker State Home at Pryor Creek in 1932. They named him George Gary Harlan. They resided in Eufaula, OKlahoma. George was City Counsilman from 1935-45 in Eufaula. Unsure if Marie and George Harlan had any other children. I believe this was the only child. I have checked everywhere I can think of nad I cant find these people. Marie Moore Harlan died in 1971 and is buried in Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee, OKlahoma next to her husband George Harlan. Can anyone please help me find this family of John and Vinnie Ellington Moore.Census for Marie in 1920 states her parents were born in Kentucky.
