The March 29th & 4 issues of April 1894 for the Indian Journal Newspaper (Eufaula, McIntosh County, I.T. with news from surrounding areas) are now on-line. This paper is very faded and the print is so tiny that I have to use a magnifying glass most of the time thus about a month's worth of papers is all I can stand to do at one time. I spent lots of time in the Checotah area. I visit the cemetary every year at least once. I do see a lot of the Dabbs/Dobbs names in the cemetary and have heard the names over the years. I believe Troy was married to a girl named Rene. I could probably find out for sure. I also thought Ben Roork was married. There are still two daughters of Charlie and Myrtle (my Mom and her sister) alive that remember some of the background. And yes, there is Indian heritage in the Roork family. Sheila
