    3. Opps you were looking for an obituary. My cousin is married to the son of the former owner of the "INDIAN JOURNAL" We recently discussed obits and their arcivies from the paper. She informed me they are now in the Eufaula library and are either being forwarded to the Oklahoma Histororial Socity. J. 2. KARLA KT SHAHAN
    3. Off of Genealogy, but connected loosely, as we hope that records are still intact, What was the damage sustained this past week in McIntosh County... The Tulsa World said that two tornados hit Checotah... and a housing community near the lake was badly damaged... Any first hand reports? There is a courthouse in Checotah isn't there? Karla

    3. The possibilities are endless, but Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson leaps immediately to mind. My grandfather b. 1905 was named Jackson (I can't be sure whether it is in honor of Andrew or Stonewall as my ancestors were all diehard Southerners) and a distant cousin was actually named General Jackson!

    1. [OKMCINTO-L] T.J. - Meaning?
    2. KARLA KT SHAHAN
    3. Just as we have seen that the initials L.D. might have originated with Lorenzo Dow, the Methodist (?) Preacher, is there a background to the initial T.J.? Was there a person of notability to whom these initials are attributed? [email protected]

    3. Hello, you are receiving messages from this post probably because you signed up for it. It is easy to unsubscribe to it, but if you are into genealogy it is great. I noticed your name was Ewing!!! You must be looking around in the Eufaula, McIntosh Co., Ok. area for something.....years ago around 1926/27 or 1928 my grandparents Acy (No middle name) Kimbro B. 1889 and his wife Flossie Lee (Brassfield) Kimbro lived on the PETER EWING FARM they had my father the oldest, Acy T. Kimbro, Flora Lee Kimbro, Virginia Ruth Kiimbro, when they lived there. Woud this perhaps be your family of Ewings???? -----Original Message----- From: Vance P Smith, Sr. <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, May 26, 1999 10:22 PM Subject: Re: [OKMCINTO-L] Global Search for GenConnect >Hello >I have received 11 messages from you.
