    1. Otho B. SIX - d. 26 Jan 1977
    2. Hi all: The above fellow is a very probable relative I've stumbled across early this a.m., on the McIntosh Co. site's online cemetery links. He was listed as being buried in the Brush Hill Cemetery, near Fountainhead Lodge, in 1977 (aged 99), yet he does not appear in any Census of McIntosh Co. with those who would had to have been his sibs or parents. Actually, he doesn't appear in any other (online) records at all, that I can tell. Where might I be looking, funeral-home-wise (circa 1977), for this area of McIntosh, do you think? Perhaps they would have a file on Otho. I _would_ write to the OK State Dept. of Public Health for a Death Certificate outright, yet it is possible he didn't die in OK at all but the body was buried at Brush Hill nonetheless. I really would like to confirm his parents ... Thanks in advance for any pointers! :-D -- Cheryl

    1. The Beginning of Tulsa by J M Hall
    2. Linda Haas Davenport
    3. The ggrandaughter of J M Hall (one of the founders) of Tulsa has given me permission to put the book "The Beginning of Tulsa" on the web. This book was written in 1927, updated in 1933 and has been out of print and almost impossible to find since the mid 1930s. This is a fabulous resource for those who are searching for early Tulsa ancestors. Mr. Hall was one of the first men in Tulsa and his book contains lots of names and history. I have only the first 20 pages on-line by you are welcome to drop by and see what I have so far. You will need to check back off and on because this is will take me awhile. The search engine has not yet spidered my site so you'll have to read <g> http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~haas/learningcenter.html Last item on the page. Enjoy! I don't know anything about him except he was married to my Dads sister, Minnie Pullen, and they had a son named Jim also. I believe they divorced while their son was very young. Jim was in law enforcement of some kind and also a guard at the prison in McAlester. Do you know if he is related to your Grandfather or have any information on him? Thanks for your time.
