Services were July 31 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Checotah followed by burial in Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Hampton Mortuary, Checotah. He married Pauline Myrick of Agra. Two sons were born to them. The marriage ended in divorce. He later married Ruby Richwine (Gordon) Bean Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Ruby who resides in a convalescent home in Checotah; sons, Don Bean and wife Thelma of Agra, OK and Bruce Bean and wife Myra of Chandler, OK; sisters, Lucille Hale of Checotah, Nina Jo Quinn and Patsy Crocker and husband Charles of Elk Grove, CA, Wilma Robinson and husband Dan of Citrus Hts.
