EASTEP - Her Parents: Virgie and Earl Eastep. - Idabel OK James was a vet of WWII and the Korean war. A mechanic by trade. Mother: Ethel Davis (Maiden name Davis also - according to Roy's social security application) May have remarried. Lived/died in Eagletown OK Aunt: Fay Davis - married a Davis too? - Idabel OK Brother: Roy Johnny Davis - Idabel OK - Spouse Alice and daughter Jana and son Robert? Father: Henry Lee Davis ? - died in the 20's ? Where? Cousins: Claudie Davis - OKC, OK, Ruby - CA, Charlie Davis - DeQueen AR Grandmother: Linday CAREY Woolard - Linday (ss application states Linday) Known as "Linde" pronounced LIN -Dee , was born in Hempstead county Arkansas in 187. She had family in Hope, AR. Raised grandchildren. Lived/ died in Idabel /Garvin Oklahoma as much as I can tell. Died in 1968. Buried at Canfield Cemetery in Idabel. She may have been widowed twice: Maiden Name Carey. Daughters were Davis. She died a Woolard. Don't have a clue about her spouses' names. Her parents (according to the ss application) Frank and Nancy Carey. Supposed Choctaw connection somewhere.
