I met Floyd Mack Butler. He was a sweet old man, and I was very sorry to hear of his passing. His father was Colo Rado "Collie" Butler, b. 3-13-1880, Barry Co., MO, and Floy'd mother was Lottie Brewer, b. 3-31-1890 Louisville, KY. Collie's father was Norman Barnard Butler, born 6-4-1852 in Cass Co., MI or TN, and Collie's mother was Alminey (Gardner) Mahan. (Alminey had two daughters, Julie and Sarah Mahan, prior to her marriage to Norman.) Collie's brother was Ollie. Norman's parents were Benjamin B. Butler, b. abt 1819 OH, & Emily (Sarah Emily Jane?) Morlan, b. abt 1825 OH. They both died in the spring of 1862 of smallpox, leaving all of their children orphaned. If you want more information, please let me know.
