    3. The McCurtain County Historical Society received this message and I am forwarding it on to the McCurtain County list board and to Wanda Gilbert in hopes some of you may be able to help Mr. Kircher. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Kircher To: mchs@ur-website.com Sent: Monday, November 15, 2004 9:10 PM Subject: County History Hello, I'm not sure if McCurtain County Genealogy Society doubles as the county Historical Society but I thought I'd take a chance and ask as I'm in need of some documentation. According to some sources on July 13, 1894 three outlaws were killed 3 or 4 miles east of Eagletown by three marshalls and three possemen out of Paris Texas. Would your historical society or county archivist have any documentation and details of this event? The purpose of my request is to finalize documentation on my great granduncle, one of the outlaws that was supposed to have been killed that day. Cordially, Tommy Kircher Fort Worth, Texas

    3. I hope any responses to this request will be shared on this site. There is another area that can be checked for this 'event'. Paris has a genealogy society that used to be very helpful and I'm sure they still are. They've lots of rolls of microfilm of the old newspapers. Maybe if they can be contacted, someone there can help you. Try this addy, maybe this person can be of some help. rjwoods@1starnet.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "S.
