Harris. He was adopted and then became Thomas P. Harris. He stated in a testimony I read at the Indian Archives that his mother was named: Lizzie Norman and his father was named: Thomas Pitchlynn. This Thomas P. Harris lived at Harris, Indian Territory. His father named Thomas Pitchlynn is supposed to have died in a jail in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Thomas was 22 years old in 1907 when the testimony was taken. He related that his father was 25 or 26 when he died in that Jail in Arkansas. John E. Harris was the brother of Henry C. Harris. We would like to know who this Lizzie Norman is and this Thomas Pitchlynn who died in the jail? If anyone can help with this, we would be very appreciative. Thanks. Bob
