He first when to Woodruff Co AR, where he found a wife. He moved to McCurtain County about 1900, then to Grady County in the 1930s. Since moving to MS 5 years ago, I have found 20 or so cousins living in MS. Claude and his sister, Gaither were the only of 8 siblings that stayed around McCurtain County after the 1930s. They married a Pittman brother and sister. Gaither's son Robert Lee Pittman returned to Idabel after retiring from the US Army. He worked for DHS in Idabel until he retired. I haven't spoken to him in several years, but I'm told he moved to Tulsa.
