I am trying to locate my grandparents marriage, with out any success. I sent a letter to the county clerk in Leflore about looking up my grandparents names. I am seeking the record , possibly in MC Curtain county also. There names were George Thomas Caves and Mittie Saunders or Sanders date of marriage Jan15, 1917. WHat is the customarily cost of a marriage record, Iin Mc Curtain county?? do you know what information that they need to check, the index?? I have been hunting my grandparents marriage in Arkansas, assuming it might be there, but with out success, now I will tackle some counties in Ok. thanks for any help you can give.
