She says they were his parents and that they lived in a great big house close to the First Bapist church and a Mrs. Haley lived there after the Stewarts passed away. They did die six hours apart just like you said, Mom was at the funeral and they did have separate caskets, they were not buried together but they did have just the one funeral for both of them.
