Hi Bette, Thank you for the offer to look up McCurtain obits. I bet you are going to be absolutely swamped with requests! I am looking for the surnames Coffman and Ryle, until I can go back another generation. I don't know all the first names yet. Would it be possible to get copies of all of the obits with those names if there aren't too many? My father, John Coffman grew up in Broken Bow and passed away in Idabel. His grandparents are buried in Addington Cemetery, Addington, Jefferson County, OK. I have not been able to find anything on his father, Melvin Coffman and siblings, George Dewey Coffman and Elizabeth P. Coffman. Melvin was married to Jessie Lee Ryle. Her mother, Mattie Hardwick Ryle married a Grant Campbell after Jessie's father died. Mostly I need the Coffman names. They are a completely dead end so far for me. I have found a few Coffmans in McCurtain County but do not know yet if they are mine. Forever grateful.
