Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SaB.2ACI/1636.1 Message Board Post: I didn't want you to think you were being ignored, but try as I have ... I can't find any notations in burial records for either Coley or John L. Franks. I saw the 1910 census notation for Lamb Franks 28 AL and son John L. 3 OK, which I presume are the two you cite. I also noted with interest another Franks in that same area (proximity to Valliant) who had a wife with a very similar name. There is a John Franks 35 TX, wife Callie 27 AR ... with daughters Minnie V. 5 OK and Pearl L. 4/12 OK. The only Franks I could find in burial records thusfar are: Denison Centery - Clarence Andrew Franks 11 Aug 1897 - 31 Jul 1967 Clyde C. 23 Dec 1906 - 7 Oct 1986 Naomi L. 24 Jul 1906 - 23 May 1987 (wife of Clyde) Hollycreek Cemetery - Gertrude Franks 19 Jun 1919 - 7 Mar 1999 Valliant Cemetery had a few ... whose names I don't have currently available ... but none were Coley or John L. Sorry.

    3. Saw this posting and wanted to know what type of resources you have. I am looking for the deaths of Nora Cravens Durant Sears, she died between Nov. 1918 and Jan 9, 1919. Also for the death of Gibby (or Charles) Durant, he was shot at a dance in Wheelock sometimein 1910. Also do not know when this person died or if he is even dead, the son of Nora and Gibby was born sometime in 1910, found guardianship papers where Frank Sears became guardian of 3 yr old Luther Calvin Durant on Dec, 31, 1910. Can you help me? They lived in Millerton McCurtain Co. Bette --- Lssurvey2@cs.com wrote: > Robert, > > What is it you're looking for? 2. August 31 [MCCURTAIN]/Garvin-death index Good Morning, I'm working to break a 'brick wall' and looking for suggestions. Is there a death index for McCurtain County? Is it on line? Annie had two children, a daughter who would have been 21 and a son, Paul, about 13 years of age. Thank you, Robert Rankin, Oregon

I believe that Henry C Harris is a great-great-grand uncle of mine. If he had a sister named Eliza Jane, then it would seem to be true. Eliza Jane married James Monroe Son in Missouri in 1851. Their son John William is my gr-grandfather. I have a photo titled “John William on the Choctaw Reservation” from a family scrapbook. Are you able to share any information on Henry C Harris (& Eliza’s) ancestors? Or put me on the trail to researching them? Thank you very much.
