    1. Cockerham..... Re: Ida Mae Edgar of OK
    2. S. McKeever
    3. Hi Brandee: you mention the Cockerhams in your message below. What line of Cockerhams are you researching? Recently a Cockerham married into my family and I am researching his line - Thomas Cockerham - son of Thomas Henry (Tom) Cockerham b. 1903 who was the son of Allen White (Will) Cockerham b. about 1875. Are any of these two Cockerhams in your family tree? MandBSpoor@aol.com wrote: >Hi! >Are you Tammy Blackard? Floyd & Reba's daughter? Ida Mae is also my great >grandmother. 2. Also, I would love to have any pictures that may still exsist of the great grandparents and even before them. If you have access to any I would happily pay for them. I don't have anything and I would just love to see what they look like. Thanks, Brandee

    2. Hi! Are you Tammy Blackard? Floyd & Reba's daughter? Ida Mae is also my great grandmother. I'm trying to find out all I can about that side of the family. Like the names of Ida Mae's parents and more about Oscar's side too, but mostly Ida Mae because I have a little bit already on the Cockerhams. I heard there were some relatives living in Clarksville, do you know who? Have you researched all that stuff or do you just know it in your head? I would be thrilled to swap emails with you. Thanks so much for writing. I'm glad to hear from you. Let me know , OK? Brandee

And if it is unmarked there may not be a chance that it can be found. At least that is what the people at the library told me when I was searching for my granddaughters grandfather.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SaB.2ACI/1189.1191.1197.1 Message Board Post: Hi Caroline. Frank Qualls was my great grandfather. His father was Arch Qualls and his mother was Mandy Menikin, I believe. The children were Millard, Clifford, Velma Aline (My grandmother), Lesley, Archie Ray, Olan, Jeane (who is still living, in Sherman, Texas) and Ebb Howard. I just recently got involved in geneology so even though your message was posted a while back, I just found it. If this is your Frank Qualls let me know and we can compare notes. I was confused because your message said Robert Franklin Qualls and I always thought the name was Frank Richard Qualls. Hope to hear from you. Lisa Martin

In case you have not been here, this part of the country is very rural, and there are hardly any signs showing where anything is located. Down yonder a mile or so that way, is the sort of answer a person gets if someone is searching for whatever it may be. Knowing the name of who used to live at a certain homeplace, sure comes in handy, and the police have the same problem when getting directions, and the dispatchers really have a hard time. Hope this helps. Bonnie

I've also found that Jesse K. KENNEDY and his family lived in Haworth, OK when Sam KENNEDY died in Paris, TX and he brought him to Garvin, OK to be buried in May, 1926. How close is Haworth to Garvin?

She is 89 now, and she is the one who told me of the Garvin cemetery. She is the eldest of her family, and the eldest remaining child of a family of four children. She is also the eldest remaining person born in the Rufe community. She lives near there still, and she says it is 3 miles East and a quarter mile South. It is very close to the Pine Creek lake and near the dike. I will get back on here tomorrow after I talk with her. Bonnie

John Pauley obits has burial as Denison Cemetery. Don't have an obit for James Pauley just a funeral notice that said he was from Odell and that he died there. From a distant cousin he said James was buried in Redlands Cemetery. Maybe there isn't any stones. That is the only thing I can figure.
