Hi Brandee: you mention the Cockerhams in your message below. What line of Cockerhams are you researching? Recently a Cockerham married into my family and I am researching his line - Thomas Cockerham - son of Thomas Henry (Tom) Cockerham b. 1903 who was the son of Allen White (Will) Cockerham b. about 1875. Like the names of Ida Mae's parents and more about Oscar's side too, but mostly Ida Mae because I have a little bit already on the Cockerhams. In case you have not been here, this part of the country is very rural, and there are hardly any signs showing where anything is located. Down yonder a mile or so that way, is the sort of answer a person gets if someone is searching for whatever it may be. Knowing the name of who used to live at a certain homeplace, sure comes in handy, and the police have the same problem when getting directions, and the dispatchers really have a hard time. She is 89 now, and she is the one who told me of the Garvin cemetery. She is the eldest of her family, and the eldest remaining child of a family of four children. She is also the eldest remaining person born in the Rufe community. She lives near there still, and she says it is 3 miles East and a quarter mile South. It is very close to the Pine Creek lake and near the dike. I will get back on here tomorrow after I talk with her. Bonnie

John Pauley obits has burial as Denison Cemetery. Don't have an obit for James Pauley just a funeral notice that said he was from Odell and that he died there. From a distant cousin he said James was buried in Redlands Cemetery. Maybe there isn't any stones. That is the only thing I can figure.
