    2. Sandy Pratt
    3. Susan: Thank you so much for the offer. I would appreciate it very much if you ever get the time. I sent for a copy of my father's original social security application last week. Maybe next I can go for those census cards. I am new to genealogy and computers and am learning so much from both of them. I have another brickwall on my mother's side also and am just as frustrated with it, but that's another challenge for me to learn from. I am so glad that these lists exist. I read with interest each and every one of the messages. Dusty was kind enough when I first put my search on a list to send me the Dawes Roll numbers on my Coffman's. If anyone ever needs anything looked up in Klamath County, Oregon, I will do my best to help. I quit my job in commercial printing after ten years to stay home and care for my mom, so I have time to do things like lookups. Mom is blind from diabetes and has had some mini-strokes, but I am able to leave her on her own for short periods. Helps keep her a little more self-reliant and independent. Well enough rambling on. Thanks again for the offer. Sandy Pratt in Klamath Falls, Oregon. (I think putting where you live in every message would help people who might have questions about your area contact someone. Also neat to know where who you are talking to is at!) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

    3. Hi, Sandy. Have you had a look at their census cards from the Dawes? I can probably get a look and abstracts fe able to get to the library for quite some time. The cards are held at the Federal Courthouse in Muskogee OK, or at least copies of them. You can contact them for copies that are less expensive than other sources. The cards should show you much of the information you are seeking. -----Original Message----- From: Sandy Pratt <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Monday, January 01, 2001 10:57 PM Subject: [OKMCCURT] Surname Coffman >Judy > Sandy Pratt here, from Klamath Falls, OR. 3. Hello Ola Mae: Regarding a Hazel (Bunny Griffin) Lanyon, I am sorry, I do not know her. There is a Hazel Griffin listed in the white pages here as living in Lakeview, Ore, but I don't know if that is the same one or not. That would be a long distance call from here. Lakeview is just about 100 miles east of Klamath Falls. Also, I could not find any listings in the phone book for last name Lanyon. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. 2. Deborah H Maddox
    3. Dear List, I am looking for any information I can find on my g-grandmother, Josephine Skinner. Her mother and father were Frederick A. Skinner and Texanna Hall. They were married in Clark County, Arkansas in August 1870. Josephine "Josie" married 1st Lum Harris (son of Chester Harris - shown on 1910 census living with Josie as "father in law") and lived in Idabel, OK. They had four children, one of which died within several hours of the father, Lum Harris about 1904. The father and child are said to be buried together in an "L" shape. The other children born to them are Charlie Harris, Johnny Harris and Daisy Harris. After the death of Lum Harris, Josephine Skinner Harris married 2nd James Fletch Byram. Three more children were born of this marriage Bonnie Byram, Ethel Byram and Opal Byram. If anyone knows anything at all about this family, would you please let me know? Thanks so much! Sincerely, Deborah Maddox Lexington, South Carolina

I have read many of your email to her and know that you do a lot of the Sharp, Pittman research. Claude and Marie were my mother & father-in-law. I know a lot about them and Aunt Gather and her family. You are related through Claud's sister Dorothy aren't you. I also am related to the Pipkins that come into that family through the Stuckey side. My great grandfather Elam W. Stuckey was the step-father of William H. and Thomas Jerome Pipkins. William H. Pipkins married the grand-daughter of Elam W. who was Mamie Bivings daughter of Pinkie Dale who married James Bivings. Maybe I have something that Sandee missed as we have not merged our database. I have Claude and Marie's marriage license and Aunt Gather's. She was married to a J. T. Nichols in 1925, then to Robert Pittman in 1928. I also have a copy of Albert Sharp and Polly Jones witnessed by Mattie in 1921. All in McCurtain County. Ruby Stuckey Sharp

I was so excited because none of the ones I know know each other yet we all hav the same ggrandparents. Guess who oldn't get on aol! Oh am I upset. Go to that Gen Web state seach site and put i texas and "Sank Baker" and see if yu come up with anything. I tell you I was always told my Gandma and Grandpa crump were from Mississippi. They were born there but grew up and married in Texas. Also Names are a problem. I have found his name spelled 4 different ways so far and that I would think hard with a name lke Otis Oliver Crump. Well, Judy, it makes me so happy to have been of some help. Will send anything else I find your way that I think might help. I found both my Mom and Dad's side in Bowie county so I wouldn't doubt it at all if we aren't related somehow! Give you Mother a big hug for me and I send my love to you all! Love, Sherry
