    1. [OKMCCURT] Etta Mae Caler McIntosh-Old Wright City Cem
    2. betty mcintosh
    3. I am searching for information regarding Etta Mae Caler McIntosh. She is believed to be buried in the Old Wright City Cemetery ( no headstone). She died along with infant daughter during childbirth on April 16, 1933. I have been told that the records for this cemetery have been lost. If any one has access to funeral home records, newspaper obits., etc. I would be grateful for a lookup. I have applied for a death certificate but there was no record of her death. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Posted on: McCurtain County, Ok Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/McCurtain/11426 Surname: THOMPSON ------------------------- I'm looking for a needle in a haystack--but aren't we all? I'm looking for any info on Alex-possibly Alexander--Thompson. He was living in Broken Bow and lived to be 105 years old. Is there any way I kind a newspaper article or obit, census that maight help me? He was probably born just prior to the civil war and I'l pretty sure he may have been alive into the late 1940's. I was thinking that a man who managed to live to be 105 years old would probably have a newspaper article written about him. Any leads or advice you can give me will be appreciated so much. Have a blessed day. Diane Buzbee

    3. Ola Mae, Thank you for your response. I live in California but I have to get back there and check things out. It seems that quite a few of my ancestors went to that area from Sevier County Arkansas. I have been in contact with Roy Booth who is son of Hal Benjamin Booth and Hal is brother to Ruth Booth. Any information that you have on the Booth family will be grately appreciated. Ruth was daughter of John Clay Booth and Claudia Cambell Stout. Other last names that were in that area are Smith, Brown and McCabe. Do you know if there is a list or cemetery book that I could purchase for the County Line Cemetery? The other one that has me totally stumped is William Owen Smith, my cousin. He passed away November 1999 in Oregon and he said that he was born in Haworth McCurtain County Oklahoma October 2, 1911. Owen's mother was Maybel Minnie McCabe Smith and he said his fathers name was Cody Smith. I have sent for his birth certificate but got no response. Another family of mine that lived there was Bedford Alvis Brown and his wife Sarah Jane Stinnet and they hasd lots of children. Sorry for rambling. Oh, one of the Brown girls married Otto Doan. If any of this sounds familar any help will be appreciated. Thank you for your time Ginger Brown Silva Denair California ----- Original Message ----- From: OMT . <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 29, 2001 1:00 PM Subject: Re: [OKMCCURT] THE COUNTY LINE CEMETERY > > Hi Ginger, > When I was growing up, one of my best girl friends was Claudia Morris, her > mother was Ruth Booth, who married Virgel Morris. 3. Hi Ginger, When I was growing up, one of my best girl friends was Claudia Morris, her mother was Ruth Booth, who married Virgel Morris. The Booth's and Morris family are buried at the County Line Cemetery. It does set on the McCurtain and Pushmataha County line. From Pickens you go straight West for about 3 miles or so. Tell you have to turn N. or S. Turn S. [to the Left] go a mile or so. and the cemetery will be on the Right. I'm just guessing about the miles. I you need more, I will see what I can find out for you.
