Hello Earl and Jim, Just thought that I would pass along that my gr grandfather died in 1895 in Concord, Woods County, Oklahoma Territory. I obtained his Civil War Pension File for genealogical information. It contained copies of many legal documents because the government didn't want to pay my gr grandmother pension money without proof of marriage. Every document, even personal correspondence, contained the address OT (Oklahoma Territory). It took her attorney 18 months of legal correspondence and finally a trip to IL to take affidavits from 2 witnesses of the ceremony to secure her pension. Sincerely, Linda Hirst
