Yes I have been in contact with Vi Gee , she is my cousin and Becky Kersey Saunders is my daughter. Vi Gee found Goldsmith's grave in Hennessey under the name Goldsmith Kerse but I would like to find an obit if it exists as we have no idea the cause of death at such a young age.( 23). He was a brother to my grandfather Russell Kersey and Vi Gee's grandfather John T. Kersey. All three boys made the 93' land rush with their mother and staked claims near Fairview. The only other thing I can think of is to contact the Oklahoma Historical Society Research Library and ask if they can find the obit. They have a large source of state newspapers and maybe they can find it in a newspaper we don't have access to. If you do find it, we would like to have a copy for our files. Thanks.
