The US Geological Survey lists a feature of a historical post office but provides no map location. The community is listed on a marriage certificate dated 1899 and shows Wood County. However, Major country was formed from portions of Wood county in 1907. It is thought that Leslie was located in the portion of Wood County now known as Major County. Thanks for any assistance!
