This comes from my "Mason-White Family History" (1990), page 287, by James M. Freed. The information was provided by a descendant of John and Lova (Mason) Lozier. John Lee Lozier married Lova Ellen Mason, June 29, 1902, near what is now Ames [Major County], OK. Lova was the first child of Jacob Harvey and Alice (Early) Mason, and was born April 12, 1877, near Kokomo [Howard County], Indiana. She died July 26, 1942, in Enid, OK, and was buried in the Ames Cemetery. John Lee Lozier was born May 11, 1881, Oak Valley, Kansas, son of Nicholas Lozier and Amanda (Olinger) Lozier. He was the grandson of Simon Lozier and Susan (Berge) Lozier and also of George Olinger and Martha (Taylor) Olinger. He died Nov. 11, 1955, Enid, OK and was buried in the Ames Cemetery, Major County, OK. >From page 835 of The Mason-White Family History, 1990 (again, I do not have primary documentation of this information that was provided by a descendant): John Lee Lozier's sister, Martha (Mattie) Susan Lozier, was born June 18, 1879, Cherryvale [Montgomery County], Kansas. She died July 14, 1969, Mooreland [Woodward County], Oklahoma and was buried in the Curtis Cemetery [Woodward County], OK. She married Charles (Chuck) Newton Mason, March 2, 1896, Enid, Oklahoma. He was born Oct. 17, 1878, Howard County, Indiana, son of Simon Peter Mason and Elizabeth (White) Mason, and was a brother of Jacob Harvey Mason named above. He died May 18, 1956, Enid, Oklahoma was was buried in the Curtis Cemetery, Woodward County, Oklahoma. Copies of my "Mason-White Family History" are available at the Enid, OK Library, and also at the Fairview City [Major County, OK] Library and the Major County Historical Society Library.
