Ask your Aunt if she knows of the J.W. (John William) COURTNEY, Presley & Ida COURTNEY, Mary Ann COURTNEY/BOAZ/ GORDAN, Amanda Jane COURTNEY/GORDON. (J.W., Presley, Mary Ann, & Amanda were bro. & sisters, orig. from KY.) Presley and Ida were my grt. grd. parents, they moved to Ringwood from KY. in 1903. They had Grace COURTNEY/SINCLAIR, my grandmother. She has passed away, but had told me she went to the Methodist Church in Ringwood as a young girl. There is several Vol. of 80th Ann. of Ringwood and I think it was there that I read there was a Ringwood Hotel on west side of Main St. and Cottage Hotel on east side of Main St. . I believe Mary BOAZ owned the Ringwood Hotel and Presley and Ida ran or owned Cottage Hotel . ----- Original Message ----- From: Sam Campbell <campbels@olg.com> To: <bojo@redrivernet.com> Sent: Friday, December 29, 2000 1:54 PM Subject: Re: [OKMAJOR] Fw: Arnold > Good Afternoon! > > I'm not Robert, but am definitely interested in Ringwood and Meno and was > just there this past summer.
