I understand via the grapevine there is a new Major Co., OK History/Genealogy Book in the process. Does anyone know about it? Kathleen Burnett

The Major County Historical Society, PO Box 555, Fairview, OK 73737, is publishing "Gloss Mountain Country, A Major County History Volume II." I'm not sure of a publication date or cost but you can contact the Society or judgejim@pldi.net for more information. The Major County Genealogical Society is printing an updated Cemetery Book hopefully next month. It lists burials in all Major Co. cemeteries from 1880-2000. Cost is not available at this time.
