Jackie, It is possible that I could offer some insight into the Armstrong family, although not directly to your Grandfather. My aunt married Claude Allen Armstrong shortly after graduating from Fairview High School in the late 1930s. His father's name was Claude, quite possibly the Claude Henry Armstrong you mention as being your grandfather's son, although I have no knowledge of his middle name. As a boy (I was born in 1934) I knew the family fairly well during the 1940s when they resided in Fairview, OK. Later, probably in the late 40's or 50's, the family moved to Portland, OR, or so I recall from information from my aunt and cousins. This may be information that is already in your possession, and I won't bore you with any more at this time if you already have it. It is also possible that I may be able to put you in contact with my cousins who I would think might have considerably more knowledge than I do. I would want to contact them and obtain there permission to give out any e-mail or snail mail addresses prior to doing so. I also have some marginal knowledge of a Lankard family of Major County, OK.
