Ringwood Newspaper, June 27, 1912: M.O. Cline subject of this sketch was born January 8, 1840, in the state of Ohio. In childhood he removed to Iowa. He enlisted in the army during the Civil War, and served as a soldier twenty three months. Was married to Mary E. Clark, April 23rd, 1864. Was converted at the age of twenty three years, and united with the United Brethren church. He served as class leader in his church for many years and also S.S. Supt. He removed from Iowa to Kansas, and some 14 years ago from Kansas to Okla, and located in this community where he has resided ever since. He leaves a wife and nine children, six sons and three daughters. He died at his home in Ringwood, Okla, June 21st, 1912 at about 4 a.m. His funeral took place at the Methodist church in Ringwood June 22nd. Rev. J.B. Latimer pastor of the Presbyterian church. Using Ex. 23:10 as a text from which he preached to those present, after which the body was laid to rest in the Miller Cemetery. (Miller cemetery is Pleasant Hill Cemetery) Pat Weaver, Major Co.
