No evidence of the townsite exists. we are doing Major Co. History, vol two and have an interest in such things as family histories and of places in the county, especially when the area was first settled. All of that family I know and heard of spelled the name Doane. Harriet still lives on the Harry Doane place, near the old Plymouth townsite. We have the story of B.G. Doane in major Co., History, vol one. That was Edna's father. Are you aware of that family report? Let me know if you want to pursue Plymouth.
