Wondering if anyone has information about what churches were in Major County during the period just before statehood....specifically the area around Phroso...as I had a grandfather and great grandparents who lived there during that time...and the Grandmother's obituary mentioned how she joined the Methodist faith..when she was fourteen...but never mentions a church there in Oklahoma...any information about churches in Major County during that time and whether they are still there would be most appreciated...
