Mrs. Johnson was born June 18, 1946, in Lone Grove, the daughter of Homer and Mattie Faye Clements Parlin. She died Monday, March 31, 2003, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta. She had been a resident of Thackerville since 1986. She and James A. Johnson were married October 8, 1979, in Gainesville. He preceded her in death December 7, 2002. Mrs. Johnson attended Lone Grove Public School. She worked at Weber Aircraft in Gainesville, and retired after 19 years. Mrs. Johnson was a lifetime auxiliary member of VFW 1922 in Gainesville. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include two sons, Darrell Wade Linderman of Keller, Texas and Danny Lee (Bucky) Linderman of Marietta; three daughters, Janetta Leigh McCage of Oklahoma City, Noel Jeanee Linderman and Staci Eulene Bridwell, both of Thackerville; and one brother, Dwight Homer Parlin of Plano; four grandchildren, Kristi Nichole McCage, Darsey Faye Bridwell, Lindsay Suzanne Linderman and Stefanie Cheyenne Linderman. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents. Services were under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home, Marietta.
