The Rev. Robert McCaslin will officiate the ceremony. The bride-elect is the daughter of James R. and Karen A. Gilmartin of Burneyville and the granddaughter of John and Margaret Gilmartin of Collinsville and Robert and Carolyn McCaslin of Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She is a 2001 graduate of Turner High School and is currently a junior at East Central University, Ada, majoring in vocal music education. Mr. Carpenter is the son of Lesley and Tari Carpenter of Cement. He is the grandson of Juanita Carpenter of Cement and the late Bob Carpenter, and Oliver and Donna Sample of Cement. He is a 1999 graduate of Cement High School and is also a junior at East Central University, majoring in physical education. Mr. Carpenter is employed with Wards Chapel Baptist Church, Atoka, as youth minister. Following their marriage, the couple will reside in Ada and continue their studies.
