"Clint" Martindale were Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of Christ in Lawn, Texas. Officiating was Bob Marcho. Mr. Martindale, 74, died April 8, 1993, as a result of an automobile accident south of Sweetwater, Texas. Born at Simon, he had lived in Marietta before moving to Lawn in 1969. He was the son of the late T.C. "Bud" and Plummer Rackley Martindale. Mr. Martindale had worked for an oil well service company before retiring. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Carlene Martindale of the home in Lawn; two sons, Tommy Martindale of Waurika and Eddie Martindale of Gainesville, Texas; three daughters, Betty Green of Ryan, Alice Fay Brown of Grapeland, Texas, and Melissa Harris of Merkel, Texas; a step-son, Doug Hughes of Abilene, Texas; a sister, Dora Clevenger of Spring, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Tuscala Cemetery under the direction of Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.
