The Gary and Joel Hicks you mentioned as going to school with you, Gary was my sister's 1st husband. They divorced many years ago. My sister, Linda (Montgomery) is married to Gary Bloomer (also of Love Co.) and Gary Hicks is married to Linda. Go figure. Gary & Linda Hicks own the paper in Lone Grove, just west of Ardmore in Carter Co. My sis and brother-in-law have a Robertson's Ham store at I-40 and Highway 99. Small, small world. I also know Mack Frazier. He and Don Reed taught me how to waltz.
