Etheridge, 65, were Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in New Resthaven Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas. Mr. Etheridge was born July 24, 1928, in St. Louis and died November 5, 1993, in the Gainesville Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Sherdin and Bessie Eaves Etheridge. Mr. Etheridge had served in the U.S. Navy and was employed at Weber Aircraft before his retirement. He married Mary May on April 21, 1958, in Ventura, California. Survivors include his wife, Mary Etheridge of Gainesville; a step-son, Jeff Etheridge of Smyrna, Tennessee; four brothers, David Etheridge of Thackerville, Sherman Etheridge of Baron, Garland Etheridge of Ventura and Jerry Etheridge of Oakview, California; a sister, Pearl Liddell of Thackerville; and three grandchildren.
