Pres. Max Chartrand officiated. Born February 27, 1920, in Love County, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Williams Northcutt, Mrs. McCage died September 25, 1994, in a Sherman, Texas, hospital at the age of 74. A resident of Thackerville most of her life, she was a retired employee of the Linda Jo Shoe Company in Gainesville, Texas, after 30 years. She married Burton McCage July 1, 1939, in Marietta, and he preceded her in death on September 6, 1980. Mrs. McCage was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors are five sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Mary Ellen McCage and Joe and Edith McCage of Dallas, Texas, and Charles and Judith McCage, David and Barbara McCage and Jim and Katrina McCage, all of Thackerville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Jackie Barnes and Pam and Don Pearman of Thackerville; two brothers, Bud Northcutt of Midwest City and Bill Northcutt of Ramona, California; two sisters, Thelma Hull of Jimtown and Frances Ladner of Dallas; 31 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Grandsons served as pallbearers and honorary bearers.
