McMeans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude McMeans of Marietta. The wedding took place in the study of the First Christian Church, Ardmore, with the Rev. Homer W. Haislip reading the marriage vows. The sister of the bride, Mrs. Houston Cox, was her only attendant while Donald Cole served as best man to Mr. McMeans. Following the ceremony, Mrs. Cole and Mrs. Cox entertained in the home of the former with a small reception for the members of the bridal party and their friends.
