Davis were at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Roland Luelf, minister of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Born October 30, 1915, in Love County, Mrs. Davis died November 19, 1995, in the Elmbrook Senior Citizen Suite, Ardmore, at the age of 80. She was the daughter of A.G. and Sally Stuckey Long. Mrs. Davis had lived in Ardmore since 1978, moving there from Vinita. She retired from the Northeast Oklahoma Electric Co-op of Vinita after 35 years of service. Mrs. Davis was a life member and served as the past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Vinita Chapter #20 and was the past Mother Advisor of the Order of the Rainbow for Girls, Assembly #7, also of Vinita. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Vinita. She and Hollis Davis were married October 15, 1943, at Bowman Field, Louisville, Kentucky. Survivors include a sister, Bernice Adcock of Caddo; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and three sisters.
