Hadley were at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, at Lunn's Colonial Chapel, Wichita Falls, Texas. Dr. Hadley was born February 14, 1936, at Jimtown, and died January 24, 1995, at his residence in Wichita Falls. He was a retired professor of Economics and served eight years as Director of the Division of Business Administration at Midwestern State University. Dr. Hadley was President of the Texas Collegiate Council for Business Education and authored more than 20 professional articles in business and economics. Prior to moving to Wichita Falls, he served as Executive Vice-President of the Kerr Foundation of Oklahoma. In 1970, the Oklahoma City Jaycees recognized Dr. Hadley's business and civic contributions by selecting him as Oklahoma City's Outstanding Young Man. Dr. Hadley was a Presbyterian. He married Kay Lynn Haney on July 16, 1987, in Wichita Falls. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kay Hadley of Wichita Falls; five daughters, Pamela Matthews of Oklahoma City, Valerie Lynn Fielding of Edmond, Victoria Ann Dial of Atoka, Elizabeth Ray Lambert of Alexandria, Louisiana, and Alice Kay Hadley of Wichita Falls; a son, David Lewis Hadley of Wichita Falls; and 10 grandchildren. Dr. Hadley was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Ramona Hadley in December 1987. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. January 26 under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
