Looking for a record of Tom Rains and Annie Robeson's marriage. They were married sometime around 1916. Her parents were John and Ellen Robeson. She was on the 1910 census with them as Annie Cook so this was more than likely her second marriage. Faye Heffington Littlefield, Texas

Does anyone know if the cemeteries in Love County have been documented, especially in the town of Burneyville? I am looking for the grave of Christopher P. Hodgson having died sometime after 1910 and his 2nd. wife Mollie P./Mary. They were listed in the 1910 census as husband and wife, having been married 5 years. I am also interested in a 1st. wife buried there. I don't know the given name, but of course, the surname is also Hodgson and she would have died prior to 1905. Can anyone help or give me some leads? Thanks-Beverly-Enid, OK [email protected]

I see in the 1910 census that there were 6 individuals identified as living in Burney with the surname Fitts. None of them match his Father’s name, Robert Blackmon Fitts. No Fitts are identified on the 1920 census head of household list on this web site. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of any of this. I am trying to track my family history and am having difficulty getting started. Robert Blackmon Fitts was born about 1880 in Georgia, we think and was married to a woman named Mary Ellen (Clingan?) who according to my Father was Cherokee. Robert also claimed to be “Black Dutch”. I’m not sure what that means. There were several other children from their marriage but I don’t know if they were born in Oklahoma also. The Children’s names are Arthur, Jack, Clarence, Marie and William (my Father). Any help that anyone could offer would be appreciated. Thank you, Ron Fitts
