A homemaker, Mrs. Page was a member of the Marsden Baptist Church and served as Church Clerk for many years. She is survived by her husband, William David Page of the home; six sons, Weldon Page of North Augusta, South Carolina, Bill Page and Kenneth Page of Ardmore, Carlos Page of Augusta, Georgia, Charles Page of Bakersfield, California, and Omar Page of Bethany; a daughter, Linda Brown of Ardmore; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Page was preceded in death by a daughter, Chloe Heiderich. Interment was in McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook, under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore. Assisting as casket bearers were Wayne Heiderich, Kent Heiderich, Jason Brown, Steve Cunningham, Dale Harris, Gale Harris and Lynn Heiderich. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Imogene Greenwood of the home; three sons, John David Greenwood, Lindel Ray Greenwood and Jimmy Van Greenwood, all of Marietta; two daughters, Lila Epperson and Wanda Sandefur of Marietta; a sister, Zella McGugan of Willis Point, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mr. Greenwood was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Glyme Greenwood, and two sisters. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery with services directed by the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. He moved to Love County as a child and had made his home in Wichita Falls for the past two years. Mr. Higgs was a charter member of Eastside Baptist Church where he served as the first Sunday School Superintendent, Church Treasurer and Deacon. He also helped compile the first church bulletin. Mr. Higgs married Ruth E. Richmond on May 13, 1985, in Marietta, and she preceded him in death on February 15, 1995. He was also preceded in death by his first wife of 53 years, Ruby E. Fincher Higgs on July 18, 1984. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sonya and Dub Largen and Sylvia and Bob Rounsaville of Wichita Falls; a brother, Ted Higgs; four sisters, Beth Parker, June Sampson, Mary Lee Northcutt and Yvonne Jordan; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home with interment in the Burneyville Cemetery. She married W.E. Higgs in Marietta on May 13, 1985, and he died on February 16, 1995. Survivors include two foster sons, Terry Knight and George Jackson of Washington; two step-daughters, Sonya Largen and Sylvia Rounsaville of Wichita Falls; two nephews, Arnold Richmond and Charles Richmond of California; a niece, Jenny Bostwick of California; an uncle and aunt, Raymond and Dovie Gipson of Marietta; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hank Thompson; and a brother, Horace Richmond. Interment was in the Burneyville Cemetery with Deacons of the Eastside Baptist Church assisting as pallbearers. Services were directed by the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. An employee of Gibson's Discount Center for more than 28 years, he retired on December 31, 1990, due to illness. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillie Mae Douglas of the home at Lawton; four daughters, Marilyn Siders of Augusta, Georgia, Annette Kay Collins of Sacramento, California, Deborah Lynn Stewart and Eugenia Carol Tims of Lawton; five sons, Clifford Wayne Douglas, Clentis Edward Douglas, Alvin Donald Douglas, Jr., and Rodney Kim Douglas, all of Lawton, and John Dennis Douglas of Seminole; four sisters, Willie Ruth Toles and Jimmie Willis of Lawton, Cora Brazille of Oklahoma City, and Linda Andrews of Montgomery, Alabama; four brothers, Charles Willis of Marietta, Danny Willis of Lawton, Harry Mathis of Ardmore, and Billy Washington of Tulsa; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Guy participated in the American landing on Omaha Beach at Normandy and also fought in the Battle of the Bulge. In 1979 he retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas as a Safety Engineer after 34 years of service. An American Red Cross Instructor, Mr. Guy had also been a member of the Oklahoma Safety Society, ONGOERS, Toastmasters, the Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Evangelistic Center in Bethany. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Guy of the home in Oklahoma City; two daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Van Willis of Marietta and Rhonda Guy of Oklahoma City; and two granddaughters, Lisa Willis of Norman and Kristin Willis of Marietta. Mr. Guy was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ray Guy and Roy Guy; and a sister, Fay Matthews. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, under the direction of DeMuth Funeral Home. Born September 15, 1903, at Bomar, Chickasaw Nation, to Eunice Ira and Ellie Gordon Burkhart, Mrs. Alagood died February 3, 1999, in the Norman Regional Hospital. A resident of the Marietta area most of her life, she married Oscar Milas Alagood on April 11, 1930, at Tishomingo. As a young woman Mrs. Alagood worked in the fields and took care of the sick. During the 30's she and her husband operated a cafe in Dallas, Texas, where they gave away more food to the hungry than they sold. Mrs. Alagood ws a homemaker, a diligent friend who helped the victims of local house fires by providing clothing and an easy meal for the numerous hobos who passed through Marietta during the 50's. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marietta and active in the WMU. Mrs. Alagood enjoyed sewing, gardening, crocheting, quilting, dominoes and crossword puzzles. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Milas and Connie Alagood of Oklahoma City and Robert and Margaret Alagood of Denton, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Una and Neal Hardin of Norman; three brothers, George Van Burkhart and W.B. "Bunch" Burkhart of Marietta and Ira Melton Burkhart of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Thela Alagood of Little Rock, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Alagood was preceded in death by her husband on December 19, 1984; a son, Oscar Laverne Alagood; two infant siblings; four brothers, S.B. "Buck" Burkhart, Todd Burkhart, E.C. "Grandpappy" Burkhart and R.W. "Wheat" Burkhart; and two sisters, Mary Burkhart White and Mahota Burkhart. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville, was directed by Kennedy Funeral Home. She is survived by a son, Franklin Meador of Decatur, Texas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Meador was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, J.E. Monroe; sister, Mona Robertson; and stepsister, Marie Batson. Services were directed by McCoy Funeral Home with interment in the Mountain Park Cemetery, Saint Jo. Mr. Russell served eight years with the U.S. Army. An aircraft mechanic, he was a veteran of World War II and later served in Vietnam with the U.S. Air Force before his retirement. He was a member of a VFW post in Oklahoma City and the Rubottom Baptist Church. Mr. Russell enjoyed his grandchildren and family. Survivors include a daughter, Sue Cast of Bethel, Alaska; a brother, Bob Russell of Dover; a granddaughter, Kelly Lawson of Anchorage, Alaska; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his wife on April 26, 1997; a brother, Willie Russell in 1998; and two sisters, Lorena Auld on July 3, 1990, and Gertie Davis. Officiating was Rev. Bill Liggett. Mrs. Zeek was born June 17, 1906, in Woodsfield, Ohio, the daughter of Margaret and Archie McDonald, and died January 27, 1999, in Drumright at the age of 92. She moved with her family to Oklahoma in 1918 where her father was a contract rig builder. They later moved to Michigan to farm but returned to Oklahoma where Mrs. Zeek met her future husband, O.B. Zeek. The couple was married in Drumright in 1924, and owned and operated a motel in Marietta from 1949-1951. They purchased the Western Auto Store in Bristow in 1951. Mrs. and Mrs. Zeek sold their business in 1968, after which they spent several years traveling, fishing and visiting relatives. They were both involved with volunteer work at the Nutrition Center and Masonic Lodge. Mrs. Zeek was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bristow, the Mission Action W.M.U., the Order of the Eastern Star in which she was a past Worthy Matron, the Bristow Hobby Club and former member of the Business and Professional Women of Bristow. She is survived by a son, Lynton Zeek of Oilton; three daughters, Etta Marie Coyle of Carrollton, Texas, Neda Martha Bartle of Stillwater, and Verna Mae Roberson of Marietta; a brother, Victor McDonald of Michigan; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mrs. Zeek was preceded in death by her husband; infant son, Billy Ray Zeek; her parents; two brothers and three sisters. Born November 1, 1904, at Jimtown, Indian Territory, Mr. Clark died February 9, 1999, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 94. He was the son of Charles and Lula Carothers Clark. A resident of Love County all of his life, Mr. Clark retired as a lineman from the Red River Valley Rural Electric Association. He also worked with the Love County Election Board for 65 years. Mr. Clark married the former Inez Washington on September 25, 1925. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leon. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Dee Clark of Ardmore; four daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Wendell Knowles of Lone Grove, Martha and Tracy Alford of Cortez, Colorado, Lula Bell and Bill Lovell of Yukon, and Gladys Suggs of Ardmore; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife on September 24, 1994; a brother and a sister. Interment in the Leon Cemetery was directed by Kennedy Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Kelly Bryant, Daren Knowles, Richard Wild, Joe Lee, Dillon Jones and Hank Jones. He was the son of Abb Rufus and Nannie Emaline Kelly Bettis. Mr. Bettis had lived most of his life at Thackerville before moving to Gainesville five years ago. He married Martha McCage on February 14, 1961, at Sherman, Texas. Mr. Bettis was a retired farmer and a well-known fisherman. He was of the Jehovah's Witness belief. He is survived by a brother, L.T. Bettis of San Antonio, Texas; a brother-in-law, Aubrey Dorn of Houston, Texas; and two nieces, Nannette Walker of San Antonio and Othelia Alford of Houston. Mr. Bettis was preceded in death by his wife on December 6, 1975; and two sisters, Effie Lou Dorn in 1998 and Elizabeth Rone in 1987. Services were under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home. She married Sam Fuller in 1927, and he preceded her in death in 1961. She married Howard Marquardt on May 3, 1968, in Iowa Park, Texas, and the couple moved to Ringling. Survivors include her husband of the home; and nieces and nephews. Interment was in the Marlow Cemetery directed by Reser Funeral Home. Bearers were Lyndell Awtrey, J.C. Mr. McEntire grew up in Love County and had made his home in Grand Prairie, Texas, for the past 31 years. He had been a truck driver most of his life, currently working for K Trucklines. A veteran of World War II, Mr. McEntire served in the U.S. Navy. He and the former Billie Burkhart were married May 6, 1950, at Marietta. Mr. McEntire was a member of the Bowles Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Billie McEntire of the home in Grand Prairie; a son, Dwain McEntire of Grand Prairie; three daughters, Cynthia Wenk, Beverly Bensley and Debbie Davis, all of Grand Prairie; three brothers, James Ray McEntire of Everett, Washington, David McEntire of Springtown, Texas, and Paul McEntire of Ardmore; two sisters, Virgie Price of Henrietta, Texas, and Hazel Brewer of Arlington, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Burkhart of Marietta; and seven grandchildren. Mr. McEntire was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tammy Janice McEntire on August 19, 1963; and two sisters, Mary Asilee Harris in 1972 and Ruth Glenn in 1986.
