She was a homemaker after working 15 years as clerk at the Tower Motel in Ardmore. Mrs. Ford was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include a brother, Lee Cross of San Angelo, Texas; two grandchildren, Lynn Riley of the home and Donna Landrith of Oklahoma City; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N. Ford in 1968; a daughter, Jacqueline Donovan in 1972; a son, A.J. He married Bethel Lea Allison on April 19, 1936, and she preceded him in death on January 25, 1974. He then married Dorothy Dee Newby Howard on May 25, 1974, and they have made their home in Wilson. Mr. Hodges worked in the oil fields for Cox & Hammon for 20 years as well as farmed, ranched and did custom baling. Mr. Hodges was also preceded in death by an infant son in 1951; a son, Tom Hodges on May 5, 1990; and his only brother, Meril "Red" Hodges on July 8, 1977. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Dee Hodges of the home in Wilson; a son, A.C. Hodges of Burneyville; two daughters, Jamie Stoneking of Clinton, Missouri, and Ruth Kerley of Ringling; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Mr. Skaggs later served as Sergeant of Arms in the Oklahoma Legislature for one term. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Oklahoma City. Survivors include two sisters, Leacy Johnson and Gracie Bolds of Marietta; a half-sister, Clara Darnell of Bakersfield, California; several nieces and great nieces and nephews. Dr. Earl Duane Forderhase, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, London. He suffered a fatal heart attack at his home in London on November 1, 1994, at the age of 60. Dr. Forderhase was born February 18, 1934, in Keytesville, Missouri, to the Rev. Dr. Earl August Forderhase and Goldie Barnes Forderhase. His father, a Baptist minister, had served pastorates in Baptist churches throughout Missouri between 1929 and 1972 and in Tennessee and Kentucky from 1972 to 1991. Dr. Duane, like his minister father, was a graduate of William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri; his father was co-captain of the Cardinal football squad in 1928-1929. Dr. Duane had also attended Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar, Missouri. His parents preceded him in death: Dr. Earl Forderhase on November 3, 1992, and Goldie Forderhase on January 30, 1994. Duane Forderhase served as pastor of First Presbyterian Church, London, for three years. He had also served on a number of boards of benevolent organizations, private schools, and of Seton Home Health Service, Inc., and Tri-County Hospice, all in the London area. He was also a pastoral counselor for Tri-County Hospice. He had a long and distinguished career both as minister and educator. Having received his M.A. degree in history and his Ph.D. degree in philosophy from the University of Oklahoma, he taught philosophy and religion at the University of Oklahoma, Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa, and Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, for 18 years. There, he also served as chairman of the Department of Philosophy. During that period he served both Baptist and Presbyterian Churches in and around Fairfield; in the communities of Marietta, Lindsay, Norman and Oklahoma City; and in Clarksville, Tennessee and surrounding areas, including the Western Kentucky towns of Hopkinsville and Pembroke. He was pastor of First Baptist Church, Marietta, from 1960 to 1962. In addition to William Jewell College, he was a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. During his seminary years (1956-59) he served either as associate pastor or as pastor of several churches in Texas and Southeastern Oklahoma. Dr. Forderhase is survived by his wife, Carol of London; a son, Gregory Duane Forderhase, an attorney in Knoxville, Tennessee; a daughter, Alison Petre of Knoxville; and a brother, the Rev. Dwight Forderhase, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Lancaster, Kentucky. Conducting the memorial service were: the Rev. William McAtee, Executive Presbyter of Transylvania Presbytery, Kentucky; the Rev. George Aichel, Assistant Presbyter; the Rev. Johnny Sconce, minister of the Leon Baptist Church, officiating. Born February 4, 1981, at Marietta, Dustin died November 19, 1994. He was the son of Jerry Wayne and Sylvia Ruth Reed Clifton. A resident of Love County all of his life, he was a seventh grader at Marietta Middle School. Dustin enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on old cars. He had spent this past summer working on a Volkswagen. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Sylvia Clifton of the home; a sister, Carissa Dawn Clifton of the home; grandparents, Paul Clifton of Marietta and Velma Reed of Burneyville; two aunts, Jean Powell of Escalon, California and Reba Hartman of Leon; and two uncles, Darrell Reed of Leon and Larry Clifton of Rogers, Arkansas. Interment was in the Leon Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Harry Kerr, Randy Gray, Sam Andrews, Randy Reeves, Charles Treadwell and Johnny Dixon. Dale Berry officiating. Mrs. Jacobs was born May 7, 1913, at Sivells Bend, Texas, and died November 18, 1994, in Marietta. She married Claude Jacobs on May 3, 1936, at Thackerville, and he preceded her in death on April 26, 1985. She was also preceded in death by two sons, John Henry Jacobs in 1984 and Charles Jacobs in 1989; and two daughters, Claudine in 1946 and Linda in 1951. Mrs. Jacobs had been a resident of Marietta since 1990, moving here from Muleshoe. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, John Jacobs of Lubbock, Texas, Carl Lee Jacobs of Marietta, Lehmon Jacobs of Muleshoe and Billy Jacobs of Phoenix, Arizona; five daughters, Ola Jean Jenkins of Marietta, Shirley Collins and Mary Parker of Waco, Texas, Helen Lowater of Hub, Texas, and Retha Tigue of Muleshoe; three sisters, Letha Kittrell, Annie Hart and Mookie Coonrod, all of Marietta; 42 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of James Thomas and Annie Splawn Cobb. Mrs. Graham had lived in Richmond since 1965, moving there from Love County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She and Horace Graham were married December 24, 1920, at Ardmore. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Fletcher of Richmond; a sister, Eva Holloway of Plainview, Texas; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her husband on November 10, 1966; and a son, Jack Graham on May 31, 1983. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill McGehee, David McGehee, Rudolph McGehee, Bill Looney, Buddy Motsenbocker and Monroe Thompson. She married Rufus Franklin Pierce November 24, 1917, at Kingfisher. They lived in Marietta for several years where they operated a photography studio before moving to Davis. Mrs. Pierce was a member of First Baptist Church, Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge. She moved to Ardmore following the death of her husband on December 22, 1972. She is survived by a son, Forrest Pierce of Ardmore; a daughter, Nell Shawver of Oklahoma City; a sister, Dee Dee Lallicker of Welch; seven grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eloize Baker; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Forrest Crowder of Double Oak; a sister, Evelyna Harberson of Copper Canyon, Texas; uncle, Frank Lee Terrill of Dallas, Texas; aunts, Vida Ruth Simmons and Jay Hill of Marietta; and two grandsons, Justin and Chris Crowder.
