My gr-grandfather John Hobbs is buried in Oak Park cemetery and lived from 1864-1951. The state of Oklahoma was unable to find his death certificate and I'm told he wasn't living in Lincoln County when he died. Who would have the cemetery records? I've also been told that my gr-grandfather was one half Indian and he acquired some land from the government because of this and gave it to his son Claude Hobbs. I have no idea what tribe he was and where this land is, or when he got it. Does anyone know where I could find this information? Debbie
