On page 159 of the History of Lincoln County there is an article on Grand Army of the Republic it refers to new in the Chandler News dated December 24, 1903. If I were you I would get a copy of this article. There is also information from the Meeker Herald dated December 29, 1904, page four, col. 3, it mentions I.H. Foster (deceased). Appears Foster was a vetern of the Civil War.
