I am posting this to the Lincoln County and Payne County list since many of those making the run were living in Payne County. I wrote the Lincoln Cty courthouse in Chander requesting any documents they had regarding the land my gggrandmother Mahala Bayne had from the land run. I had gotten my information from the Lincoln Cty website. North Cimarron Township, South Half of Township 17 North, Range 3 East. The answer from Chandler was that I must have the section number. I have no idea how to get this does anyone out there know how to obtain it? Any ideas will be appreciated. Thank you so much, Rochelle in the Sierra Foothills
