I am looking for some assistance in finding an obituary or death notice on my great-great-grandfather, Isaac H. Beasley/Beesley. He is buried in Noble, Cleveland County, OK, however he and his wife, Elzada were in South Wichita, Lincoln County, OK census' for 1910 and 1920. His gravestone says he died 10/9/1931. I sent a death certificate request to the state and they said that they could not find it in "all counties" for the time period of 1930-1936. Can anyone do a obituary search for me? Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Davenport Cemetery. Born Sept. 20, 1929, at Davenport to Henry and Dorothy Clark Hodges, she died Feb. 16, 2002, at an Edmond hospital. She was preceded in death by a brother. She married Bill Tate on May 22, 1948, at Davenport. She attended Davenport schools. Mrs. Tate had lived at Seminole for the past several years. She was retired from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services where she had been a social worker for more than 20 years. She was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church and the Board of Mental Health of Southern Oklahoma, where she had previously served as president.
