    1. [OKLINCOLN] From List Mom - Comcast buy out
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, If you were effected by the Comcast buy out, then you need to read this, if not delete it. Just this evening, I have receive over 100 requests for me to change e-mail address to a Comcast address. Many of these requests mention multiple lists of which the sender needs their e-mail address changed. It will take me a good week or so to get through them all. My suggestion is; If you still have the ability to unsubscribe go to PASSWORD Central at http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com/ type in your old e-mail address, and follow the directions. You will receive an e-mail from which you can unsubscribe. If you can't do this, then you will just need to re-subscribe with your new address and let the old one bounce off. To re-subscribe this go to John Fuller's mailing list site http://www.rootsweb.com/~jfuller/gen_mail.html or remember you can subscribe and or unsubscribe by sending only the word UNSUBSCRIBE or SUBSCRIBE to [email protected] or [email protected] if you are on the Digest List. Naturally change the XXXXXX to the name of the list. If all else fails, contact me, but be understanding if it takes me a while to get to you. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    1. [OKLINCOLN] Memorial Day - Lonely Graves
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. For those of you who are visiting the cemeteries and graves of your loved ones, your ancestors this weekend and have a few extra flowers, think of placing them on one of the lonely graves which are never visited. Or, if you are living in an area where you have no one, think of visiting a cemetery and placing flowers by one of these lonely graves. I live in Logan Utah and tomorrow I will be visiting several local cemeteries and will be placing flowers on graves. Over the past years I have adopted these graves, these people and I hope that someone out there is doing the same for my loved ones. This is the day to remember those who came before us, who forged the paths that we now walk. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

I was afraid to ask if you originally lived down in Fresno - because of the obvious fraud that's going around. I'm SO EXCITED to hear from you!!! You said you HAD a brother named Johnny. Has he passed away? Hey, I still remember your birthday - it's Sept. 10, 1942. Yes? That's because you are exactly 4 years older than I !! I can't believe it's YOU. After ALL these years! Do you still live in Fresno? Hey, I'm still afraid of the dark. When I was 4 we were down there, I spent the night with you guys, and my mom said you'd told me a scary story - and it really scared me - and I've been afraid of the dark ever since! Of course, I remember Auntie Bea (your mom) and Uncle Joe and Aunt Alma. Now that we are sure we are who we are - we must keep in touch, please? You've got to let me know what you've been doing all these years. I can't remember the last time we saw you! I remember riding the street car with you in the city - and your mom worked at Woolworth's. That's th! e last I remember. I'm so glad you found me. You were my idol - just in case you don't remember that!!! I'm living in Florida, have been for many, many years. My e mail address is: [email protected] I've half-heartedly tried to locate my dad's relatives, but have been unable to do much of anything. I am soooo glad I posted that note on here - I guess "finding' you would have been impossible without this place! I have thought about you so much over the years, wondering where you were and so on. Please do write back, would love to hear from you - and perhaps one of these days we can visit in person! I do go back home to Ca. as often as I can, as many of my friends still live back home. Love to you! Jan (aka Janice)
