Am looking for any available information on my grandfather, Roy Spurgeon. He married Lila L. Bailey about 1911, probably in Stroud/Lincoln County. Lila Bailey was the daughter of Orestes G. and Jessica Bailey who resided in Stroud from about 1911 through the mid-1920's before moving to Oklahoma City. Roy Spurgeon (b. about 1890 in Colorado) was apparently convicted of Manslaughter/murder and served time in the Oklahoma State Prison at McAlester (according to the 1920 Census). Would appreciate any information on Roy Spurgeon. Jerre Chumley Palm Coast, Florida
