Roy was married to Thelma Hudson (and maybe Louise Hagar) His mother, my grandmother, was Lura Bell Waters McCarter Bratton, and his father was John Clay (JC) Bratton. Even though I was at Grandma's funeral (around 1970), I cannot remember where she was buried; it was somewhere in the Chandler area. Also, Grandma's parents were George W. and Martha E. Waters, who are also in Lincoln County somewhere. My mother's brother, Willie Whit (Bill) Real is buried in Wellston - but I don't know exactly where. Thank you very much.

There is a Graham family listed who had a son, Carle G. Graham, age 5 years old in 1890. If this is even close to the age of the Carl Graham you are trying to find, it might be worthwhile to copy that family's information. You will need to scroll down many names, but you can find the family on the list at page 52. http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgarvin/kinard/1890oklahomaterritorialcensus.txt

I've put a fresh look on the Lincoln County GenWeb site, (at http://www.rootsweb.com/~oklincol/ if you've forgotten) and am open to more suggestions to make it easier to navigate or things to add. I'm looking, too, for people to submit content - whether photos, transcriptions, or other information of use to folks researching in the county. I've had some great help from a number of voluteers, but I need more help with this as I don't live in the county. I would also like to point out the link to Mel Chatman's work on the Ellis family, and his fine research on African-American families in the county. As usual, I have to mention the museum in Chandler. If you are looking for specific information, they can probably help. Jeanette and her staff always come through in a pinch! Again, the link to the museum is on the Lincoln County site. Looking forward to hearing from you- John -- John K.
