I found him on Heritage Quest (questionable US Census material) in the 1910 Census in Falls County, Rosebud, Texas where his father was a Methodist Preacher very ill, may have just passed, or an older brother or uncle?? John H. Wheeler 145/145married to an illegible name of my ggrandmother Julaney/Gelaney Elizabeth Lowry Wheeler who was the town's doctor/midwife/ran the orphanage born in Hamilton, Illinois. I found Houston 21 possibly Uncle Ed Emma 19 Roy 17 Leon 14 Laverta 11 Marvin 5 next door at the end of the street big house now gone with Lewis C. Porter, Henry Munsch and Wm. D. Tyson? Uncle Roy had two beautiful girls by one marriage, Juanita and Mae, fantastic creatures! Rev. John "Sam Houston" Wheeler was the orpaned grandson of Chief Justice, Lawyer and Judge of Texas, Royall Tyler Wheeler and Emily Walker, who was murdered in the Civil War, 1864. It is doubtful he committed suicide.
